Venting About Forgetting

Here I am. Sitting staring at this blank blogger screen and thinking what should I write about tonight? I've been sitting here with this page open for hours now with nothing to write about til....now....

While the husband has been on duty all night long, here it is, 0130, and I am browsing facebook. That's enough to get my brain working enough to be able to blog about something...

Okay, I get it, Halloween was the other night, but that doesn't mean you can just skank around all over my news feed with pictures. I don't want to see your "sexy" outfits. I don't find them too "sexy", maybe that's just me.

Man I sound really angry tonight. But for reallllll!! I have seen so many skanky pictures recently that have been floating around the internet of people that I know. If it's not from Halloween, it's from clubbing, partying, etc, etc...

It's weird because I was never the type to ever flaunt myself the way that most of the girls out there do...can you say class?

Am I such a humbug because I am now that old married woman? Sure. I just wish people would see how bad they actually look. No one cares. Really, put some clothes on, and stop making yourself look so, for a lack of a better term, easy.

I remember my dad telling me a guy likes a woman more when they have class...

Stop forgetting you're a lady. Remember your clothes and have pride in yourself because you're making the rest of us look bad....

Vent Session

Let me just vent...that's why I have this blog, right?!

Lately I've been having my days. You know, those days. I've been really missing my husband a ton. I know he's stateside, and frankly I'm pretty tired of being told I should be thankful that he's not deployed. What makes you think I'm not thankful? I mean, really, who wants their husband deployed? Not me. I'm simply saying that I miss him.

He's not an 8 hour drive from me, he's a 36 hour drive (straight through) from me. He's a plane ticket. I could go see him, that's what gets to me. I could see him if I just had the money. Which really gets to me, I moved away from my job back in my home state and now, with the economy, I haven't been able to find a job. My degree is pointless, I feel useless, and we all know military pay is not the highest paying job. Living on one income is pretty darn hard!

So, please, don't tell me to be thankful he's stateside, because I am. I never wish a deployment on anyone, ever. I do, however, believe that God choose these fighting men and women for a reason, just like He choose us spouses to support them back home for a reason. We are all a part of the few and the proud. Not too much longer 'til I'm reunited with my husband...less than a week 'til my visit! Thank goodness! :)
