Pillow Talk: Appreciation

This weekend's pillow talk.

Welp, as you all know by now my husband is off doing his duty in the "Sunshine State" while I'm stuck here in the "Golden State". Anywho, this will probably be mushy, gushy, ewwy, gewy, lovey, dovey....just a warning! -Hey give me a break, we've been away from each other, it's gonna be mushy!-

When he first got to Florida he would text me and even tell me that he missed me a lot. I thought, really? Now you gotta understand, he's a Marine. He doesn't express these kind of emotions. Oh crap, did I say the 'e' word!?! Ha.

So, every time I've talked to him he expresses that he doesn't want to be there at all and all he wants to do is come home. I mean, he resents that he's in Florida. I've never seen him so upset to have to be doing duty somewhere else (especially with it being just as short as a month or so), he's usually okay with it, or at least doesn't show the fact that he's upset about doing his job. Needless to say he does love me (duh, that was my sarcasm) and he does miss me. It's soooo nice to know those things, especially when you feel like your world is caving in because of his absence. I just think it's really neat to see how much we start to appreciate one another so much more once we are separated. I guess this is my newlywedness (is that a word?!) showing.

It just made me smile and I thought it was worth to share. :)

Oh I loved this. I think there is something in the air with mil spouses lately but I have been reading and hearing so much about separation and the men stepping it up with their lovey dovey'ness. I also love your pillow talk picture thing. Did you design that yourself??
